摘要

本文采用问卷调查的方式对两个高中班的学生进行研究,旨在了解高中生英语阅读中学习策略的使用情况,并对其进行分析。通过调查,本文发现以下几个问题:从情感策略来看,当学生遇到困难时,对英语阅读的积极性就会减弱,另外,大多数学生进行英语阅读的为了获得高分,而不是为了获得知识;从认知策略来看,英语阅读中,绝大多数的学生并没有在预习时找出文章中的英语习惯用语,固定搭配和句型。他们并没有意识到总结文章类型和写作特点的重要性,也不能利用自己的背景知识对阅读文章进行理解;从调控策略来看,绝大多数学生计划,管理,总结和反思的额能力比较弱。在阅读中遇到困难时,他们很少向他人求助;从资源策略分析,学生对此的使用较少,除了教科书,他们很少利用英语报纸,图书馆和网络等课外资源来扩大自己的阅读量。最后,本文针对研究发现的问题提出相应的建议,希望能有效地培养高中生在英语阅读中对学习策略的使用能力,提高他们英语阅读的成绩。

Abstract

This paper adopts the way of questionnaire survey on the study of two ordinary classes of a senior high school. By analyzing the results of the survey, the researcher finds the following questions: From the point of emotional strategy, the problems during the progress of English reading may weaken the enthusiasm of them. Besides, most students do English reading in order to gain a high score rather than learn knowledge; from the point of cognitive strategy, they don’t pay enough importance on the type of article and its writing style. Also, they can't well use background knowledge in reading; for control strategy, the ability of most students in planning, management, summary and reflection is relatively weak. When they have problems, they don’t ask teachers or students for help; for resource strategy, besides textbook, they rarely use external resources to broaden their English reading. According to the existing problems, this paper puts forward some suggestions to effectively develop high school students’ ability of using learning strategies in English reading.
